  • Artist Bio
Amanda Bade gained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Canterbury University, majoring in print making, in 1991. She has exhibited in Canterbury from 1989 and currently exhibits in Auckland. Bade is currently taking some time off from her art teaching career to devote more time to her family. Bade's series of black and white etchings were derived from weather maps. They are a visual exploration of signs and symbols investigating mark-making.
