Land Fall

Mark Wooller has been exhibiting regularly and successfully since 1988. He began painting natural objects several years ago, a development he sees as a tremendous revolution in his work, merging his background in landscape design and love of the outdoors into his art. His work is an ongoing uncovering of details, a re-ordering of natural forms in circles, rows and lines, rather than an attempt to capture the vastness of a landscape. My work is the result of the way that I view and interpret the nature of the familiar objects that surround and fascinate me. The way I see the essence of a stick, a stone or a leaf, I then begin to read their stories, learn their songs and most important to me, learn how to look, to listen and to reconnect.
