Hip Hop 2009

Jenny Caldwell completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland in 1982. She has inspired many young artists through her extensive teaching experience and exhibitions over the past 30 years (including private exhibitions in Remuera and Parnell, the Auckland Society of Arts and NZ Portrait Gallery). Her speciality is Colour Theory and every aspect associated with it. Of particular interest is her fascination with dance notation (Laban Rotation - a system of recording movement) that is incorporated into her dance artworks. Her portraits are also a delight.
