At first glance, the late, Mario Mazzorana's work may remind you of the work of Jackson Pollock, but the difference is that Pollock's work is meant to be attached to a deeper meaning, whereas conventional splatter painters such as Mario are generally just doing it for fun. Splatter painting may resemble thrown paint on a canvas.
