Diana Firth

Diana Firth was born in Hamilton in 1945. She attended Elam School of Fine Arts and studied under Colin McMahon, Garth Tapper and Jolyon Saunders. Diana was a fashion designer in Sydney and a furniture designer in New Zealand before concentrating fully on her painting again in 1994. Firth paints portraits which capture the essence of her subjects. She exhibits frequently with galleries both in Auckland and throughout New Zealand.
